Living in a fallen world, it’s easy get swallowed up by the darkness that surrounds us if we let our guard down. As Christians, it is especially important for us to remain watchful and be on guard against the influences evil in the world. It is vital for us to always be on guard, standing firm in faith, and be courageous and strong (Ref: 1 Corinthians 16:13). Seeing to it that no one take you captive through hollow and deceptive philosophy, which depends on human tradition and the element of spiritual forces of this world rather than on Christ (Colossians 2:8 NIV).
But, because we live in a dark world, we don’t always recognize that there is light at the end of the tunnel. If we’re not careful, we can loose our hope. We may feel like our life and our situation is hopeless, and things will never turn around for us. When we face challenges in life, it can be difficult to remain hopeful.
